Dr Anil Dhall is one of the leading Cardiologists in India and is currently working in the capacity of Head - Interventional Cardiology at Artemis Health Sciences. He brings with him a varied experience of over two decades and is one of the leaders in performing angioplasties in the country. He has been a renowned personality in the Indian Armed Forces fraternity and has also been awarded The Sena Medal for his achievement.
His previous appointment was at Max Heart and Vascular Institute, New Delhi as a Senior Consultant and Unit Head – Cardiology and Senior Adviser and Professor at Army Research and Referral Hospital, New Delhi.
He is a fellow of the Endovascular Intervention Society of India and the Cardio Logical Society of India. Dr. Ashok Seth, one of the most recognized and respected Indian Cardiologist across the globe has contributed significantly to the growth, development and scientific progress of Interventional Cardiology in Asia Pacific. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Seth has pioneered numerous angioplasty techniques. For his invaluable contribution and achievements in the field of medicine, Dr. Seth has been awarded the prestigious national recognition, Padma Shri, in 2003.
Dr. Seth was the first cardiologist in Asia Pacific to perform Directional Coronary Atherectomy, Stents, including Drug Eluting Stents, and use of Impella heart support device to treat heart blockages. He was also the first cardiologist in Asia to perform Angioscopy and Angiojet Thrombectomies and one of the few cardiologists in the World to perform Percutaneous Myocardial Laser Revascularization. He has performed more than 50,000 angiograms and 20,000 angioplasties in his career, for which he has received recognition in the "Limca Book of Records".
Dr. Seth was earlier associated with Max Heart & Vascular Institute, New Delhi where he was responsible for creating new standards of excellence in cardiac care. Prior to this, Dr. Seth was also instrumental in creating the Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi from the day of its inception when he became the head of Invasive and Interventional Cardiology on his return from England in 1988. Dr. Seth had left Escorts Heart Institute in December 2004 to join ‘Max Heart and Vascular Institute’ as Chairman and Chief Cardiologist.
He is also one of the youngest overseas doctors to be awarded the Fellowship of the three Royal Colleges of London, Edinburgh & Ireland in year 1995.
He is the Associate Editor of International Journal of Cardiology. Dr Zile Singh Meharwal is a world renowned Cardiovascular Surgeon dedicated to the service of human kind. After his basic schooling Dr Meharwal joined the prestigious medical college “King George’s Medical College, Lucknow” where he passed his MBBS. During his medical graduation, he received National Merit Scholarship based on his performance in 12th examination. After his graduation, he joined General Surgical training programme and passed his MS in General Surgery from the same medical college. While he was doing his training in General Surgery, he developed interest in Cardiovascular Surgery, which still was not very developed in India and the patients who could afford, were going abroad for treatment and those who could not afford, were left untreated.
